Turkish builder Sirena Yachts announces significant progress on its largest composite model to date, with delivery on track for 2026.
Turkish shipyard Sirena Yachts has issued a comprehensive construction update regarding its highly anticipated flagship, the SIRENA 118. Currently under construction in Yalova, Turkey, the 36-metre vessel represents the shipyard’s boldest entry into the superyacht sector, serving as the premier model of its new composite line.

Construction Progress
The shipyard reports that the first hull is advancing steadily through its production phases. Critical technical installations are proceeding alongside aesthetic developments. Specifically, the production of the lower deck furniture has been finalized, with assembly set to commence shortly. Simultaneously, the installation of insulation, piping, and cabling is underway, ensuring the vessel’s complex systems are integrated seamlessly.
Externally, the SIRENA 118 is beginning to exhibit its finished profile. Sliding doors have been installed, effectively sealing the interior spaces, while the production of the teak decking is currently in progress. The hull is also undergoing rigorous paint preparation, a vital step before the final application of the exterior finish. These milestones keep the project firmly on schedule for its projected launch and delivery in 2026.

A New Composite Benchmark
Designed to be the largest GRP yacht built by Sirena to date, the SIRENA 118 maintains a volume below 300GT while offering the amenities of a much larger vessel. The project is a collaboration between Sirena’s in-house exterior design team, naval architecture legend German Frers, and interior designer Cor D. Rover.
Çağin Genç, CEO of Sirena Yachts, expressed pride in the team’s progress, noting that the design vision is now materializing across every area of the build. Following the completion of the current technical phase, the vessel will move toward engine installation and final interior joinery.
