As trends in boating continue to change we’ve paid attention and gradually changed the boats to fit the needs of today’s active families. The emphasis has changed from pure fishing to more cruising and watersports.
In response, your new Family Sportsman will feature a changing/potty room in every model. Comfortable seating from front to rear accompanied by cup holders conveniently located throughout are standard. Helm seating options range from a versatile cooler seat with reversible backrest, to the popular Convenience Center leaning post in the 239FS and the latest 263FS. This option includes features such as the utensil drawer, tackle drawer, fresh water and sink, prep table and of course the folding bolster helm seat. It also includes a high end cooler on a handy slide out rack, which converts to a rear facing seat. And finally, every Family Sportsman by Key West Boats features the expansive bench seat in the rear for lounging or enjoying the ride with friends.

These are still some serious fishing boats when that day rolls around. Every FS series model from the 189FS to the flagship 263FS includes fish friendly features like at least one live well; the 263FS has two, gunnel mount trolling rod holders, molded in rod racks in the side walls capable of storing serious fishing rods, generous dash space for flush mounting your choice of electronics. The cushions can snap off to provide a clean fiberglass non skid surface. With the Family Sportsman series there is no need to compromise when heading out for an exciting day on the water.
