1975 Custom Ketch Altair

Beautiful classic vintage boat from 1975 rigged in Kecth, 46 feet (14.26 m), unique model born in the Stizi-Toulon-France shipyards, model Altair, designed and engineered by a Naval Engineer from shipyard itself.

Ocean-going boat built in mahogany planking crossed on oak frames with three layers of epoxy on the sides.

Charming and romantic like a French bistro, internally we find original and intact materials such as mahogany, cork and copper.

She is a reliable boat that has already crossed the ocean and the entire Mediterranean several times in total safety due to her structural and technical characteristics.

Very comfortable boat with a nice livable square both in terms of height and width (DINETTE) with kitchenette.

She is also very comfortable when sailing thanks to the not too high ratio between displacement and ballast and her generous width.

Boat in perfect order ready to sail as can be seen from the NAVAL SURVEY realized  in June 2022.

The deck entirely in teak was redone in 2015, electrical system in 2013.

Complete refitting of the teak deck in 2021 with internal and external painting.

Hauling and hull: 2021.

Total overhaul of the 74 HP 4-cylinder Perkins engine in May 2021, plus annual routine maintenance 2023.
