The Italian Shipyard Unveils Its Largest Vessel To Date At La Spezia Facility
Baglietto has marked a historic milestone with the launch of the first hull in its new flagship T60 series at its La Spezia facility. As the largest vessel ever constructed by the esteemed Italian shipyard, the sixty-meter motor yacht represents a significant evolution in maritime luxury and design. The highly anticipated launch ceremony was attended by the owner, their family, and local dignitaries, signaling a triumphant moment for the builders and the broader yachting community.
The vessel is the brainchild of Francesco Paszkowski Design, who also crafted the interior spaces in close collaboration with Margherita Casprini. Building upon the success of the T52 series, the new flagship introduces soft, flowing exterior lines and visually lightened side structures that seamlessly integrate with the external overhangs. A signature black glass band incorporating the portholes runs along the hull, adding an unmistakable streamlined profile that has become a hallmark of recent Baglietto creations.
A primary focus of the design was to dissolve the traditional boundaries between indoor and outdoor living. Fully retractable, full-height glazing is featured prominently across the main salon and upper deck, ensuring guests maintain a constant visual and physical connection to the marine environment. The layout completely reimagines the upper deck, dedicating it entirely to the owner as a private, fully walkable domain accessible via a central lobby and glass elevator.
The owner’s sanctuary boasts a private office, walk-in wardrobe, and a meticulously appointed bathroom. Aft of the suite, a relaxed lounge opens directly onto an outdoor dining space through retractable glass walls, complemented by a private Jacuzzi and expansive sunpads. For guests, the yacht offers two VIP and two guest cabins on the main deck, with an additional guest suite on the lower deck, alongside comprehensive crew quarters for up to thirteen members. The lower levels prioritize entertainment and wellness, highlighted by a sixty-square-meter beach lounge complete with a pool, bar, and gymnasium. This area seamlessly connects to the main saloon via an open staircase, creating a massive dual-level social space approaching one hundred square meters. With strong order books and robust activity in the superyacht sector, Baglietto continues to solidify its reputation as a leading force in modern international yachting.
