Description
With a long list of upgrades, a strong service history, and captain maintained, this is a truly turnkey example of Rivieras popular 575 SUV. Fully serviced and ready for immediate delivery, the boat leaves nothing to be desired, see below for a full list of service, upgrades, and options.
Many manufacturers claim to make boats that do it all, but the Riviera 575 is a rare, true hybrid – a bluewater boat that is as comfortable fishing or diving as it is cruising with family. With a large open cockpit, the SUV can entertain a crowd, gear up divers, or fish a tournament. The outdoor mezzanine area with wet bar, aft galley, and three developed staterooms make the boat perfect for cruising as well. When not fishing or diving, the open cockpits mezzanine, and aft bench seat provides plenty of seating but also space for bulk storage such as paddleboards, bikes, chairs, etc. A phenomenally soft riding boat with extensive range, it can go to more places, and in worse conditions, than most any other 60’ boat.
Built on Australia’s Gold Coast, all Riviera’s feature a three-quarter keel and are heavily constructed to combat the unrelenting conditions of Australian waters, making them deep-water boats that provide comfort in conditions where most brands cannot. Watertight bulkheads and redundant systems give peace of mind and allow the owner to trust the boat on a deeper level than most boats. All Rivieras feature opening windows wherever possible, plenty of storage, and plenty of refrigeration space, all of which translate well for those who want to spend extended time aboard. Unlike European counterparts which are primarily built for crew, Riviera is built with the owner operator in mind, which makes them a much more straightforward, accessible, and serviceable boat than most.

Starting at the stern, the swim platform has tender chalks and a fold out swim ladder. Rather than just sitting flush when in the up position, it also can come up several inches to bring the platform further away from the water when in rough seas. A tuna door and folding coaming makes entrance to the cockpit easy. The boat can be fished hard with a recirculating livewell, 14x rod holders, cockpit flood lights, wash down, and outriggers. But it is just as outfitted for entertaining with a forward-facing aft bench seat, L-shaped mezzanine seating, and wet bar featuring sink, double grill, refrigerator, and icemaker. A fixed awning keeps the sun off the mezzanine area and has a removeable extension that can cover the entire cockpit. For extended periods of storage and to protect the teak, the boat has a full cockpit cover from the fixed awning to the rub rail in all directions. For ease of docking, the starboard side cockpit houses a concealed docking station complete with joystick, ignitions, and switches).
The bow is easily and safely accessed with wide walkways, handrails, and blue LED floor lights. A double-wide sunpad, bow sunshade, and cup holders make the bow a very comfortable place to relax either in or out of the sun. Four deck hatches give natural light and ventilation to the cabins below. There is plenty of foredeck forward of the sunpad for congregating, handling lines and fenders, or storage of bulky items.
Through the sliding salon doors, the galley sits aft on the port side. Riviera always features more refrigeration and appliances than any other boat in class. This is evident with the drawer dishwasher and six drawers for refrigeration and freezing. Plenty of storage, convection oven, and induction burner make the galley as capable as any household kitchen. The salon sits forward of the galley, with two L-shaped lounges face each other with the port lounge having a high-low table that converts to a day bed for lounging or another berth. For nice nights on the hook without the generator, dual overhead sunroofs, sliding windows, and hinging galley window can all open to give natural ventilation underway or at rest. Despite lots of seating and a large galley, the salon area has tons of storage which is a staple for Riviera, something European builders often lack. The entire salon and galley area have durable vinyl flooring, which looks the exact same as wood floors but is more durable and easier to replace planks for damaged areas.
The helm leaves absolutely nothing to be desired. Visibility is phenomenal on all sides thanks to large windows, including the aft bulkhead. Three 17” Garmin screens are integrated with engine room cameras, radar, sonar, and Volvo Glass Cockpit. For even more screen real estate, a dedicated 7” Volvo display sits under the Garmin units and is networked as another Garmin display. A SeaKeeper display, chain counter, spotlight control, bow thruster control, and Czone display round out the rest of the fully complimented helm. Adjustable seats and tilt steering wheel keep the captain comfortable for longer trips.
Below deck, the master sits aft and spans the full beam of the boat. An extensive amount of storage sits on the starboard side with two closets and a chest of drawers. The port side has a lounge as well as storage drawers and overhead cabinets. The master TV is mounted on the forward bulkhead while the bedhead is made of timber instead of fabric, highlighting the Riviera woodwork that they have become known for. The master head is accessed on the port side of the boat which as a large shower, basin style sink and plenty of storage.
Forward sits the VIP cabin which has almost a walk around forward bed, making it much easier to change bedding and get around the room. Guests are comfortable as an overhead deck hatch open to give air flow and natural light to the cabin. Dual closets, overhead storage, and a TV mounted on the aft bulkhead keep guests comfortable with all the desired comforts. The day head is accessed through the corridor or a private entrance from the VIP stateroom. Much like them master head, the day head has mirrored storage, a large shower, basin style sink, and overhead deck hatch.
More than just a storage room, the third guest stateroom has large sized bunks, a closet, and tall dresser to make it a much more livable stateroom than most third staterooms on this sized boat.
Perhaps the room that best exemplifies Riviera quality and attention to detail is the engine room. Unlike European boats, Riviera engine rooms are easily accessible, full size, and have the owner operator in mind rather than crew. Among other things, the engine room houses the Volvo D13 IPS 1200s (900 HP each), overrides for the CZone digital switching system, SeaKeeper 9, and water maker. All plumbing, pumps, and thru hulls are simple to access and labeled. The compressors for each air conditioning unit are in the engine room instead of the accommodation space they cool, which makes the system incredibly quiet, only the fan is heard as the compressor noise is far removed.
Simply put, the Riviera 575 SUV is a rare boat, and this is an even more rare example of it. This boat will not last long.
