43 ft Viking 1996

Newly listed, 1996 43 Viking Sport Fisherman. She was repowered in 2013 with (2) new Cummins QSC8.3 600 H0s - 600hp as well as receiving a New Generator installed by a Cummins Dealer. You've got Auto Pilot, Multi Function Display, (2) Cummins Mercruiser Electronic Vessel View Engine Monitoring Displays, Ritchie Compass, Radar/GPS/Chart Plotter/Sounders via 3 Simrad Flush Mount Displays with Stereo, VHFs all flushed and accented with beautiful High Glass Teak Helm Chairs and Steering Console Pod for SST Wheel and Side Mount Controls. All Seat and Dash Covers there are White Stamoid and in fine shape. Rocket Launchers are aft of the helm seats. Looking about, its easy to see the beauty, quality and engineering excellence that describes a Viking Sportfish. Her hardtop has LED Lighting facing fore, aft and under her.

When you enter the salon she's got tinted glass, and a beautiful Gloss Teak Interior. To port is an L Shaped Sofa with Pull Out Bed for two and to starboard is a two stool Bar. This arrangement is the two stateroom set up which is ideal. She's got an updated flat screen TV so she looks more modern and it fit just right. Window treatments are on the windows and a Floating Salon Table completes her so the salon bed can be opened and she can sleep 6 inside. Moving forward you've got upper and lower bunks in the second cabin with lots of storage. Bedding looks nice and clean. There is a common head shared by the owner's cabin and the companionway for ease of use. A nice feature is her separate shower stall with access from the companionway or the owner's cabin. On this vessel, the washer/dryer in the companionway was removed and she's set up to accommodate linens, rods or whatever you like there. The forward cabin is quite large and again, nicely decorated. Lots of storage is the first thing you notice for extended stays. All decor is original and it looks great.

Back at the galley the refrigerator has been updated but with a high quality one that does not look out of place. You've got everything you need to stay aboard for weekends or weeks on end.

She received her Pale Blue hull paint just three years ago and she looks beautiful. Her platform and bow sun pads when on last season. Its easy to see she is set up to handle any level of fishing as well as pleasure boating adventures be in swimming, diving, or barbequing in the cockpit.

She also includes a 2020 10' AB Tender that will make exploring your local harbor or getting up on the beach convenient; maybe take you into town for dinner or pull guests on tubes. For images unfortunately the marina's water was shut off so we couldn't have her washed outside. A little soap and water and the little bit of dust will disappear. Overall she's very nice.
