Remarkable. Classic 1925 commuter yacht of another era- available now, in glorious condition
Double planked hull, built of strong Canadian Port Orford Cedar. Diagonal inside layer – Horizontal outside layer fore and aft- creating a truss that prevents wood from shrinking when dry and is watertight without caulking.
Inner planking is 1/4 ” thick , outer layer is 1/2 ” thick assuring a strong, stable and light hull. Razor bow with dynamic flare keeps forward rumble seat dry. Stately sheer, grand profile and rich wooden hues throughout with perfectly varnished bright hull.
Vessel completely overhauled in 1996 by renowned shipwright Peter London of British Columbia including placement of a six cylinder Volvo turbo charged engine. Currently with low hours. In 2016 yacht was updated by Palm Beach Yachting. Original beveled and etched glass, great upholstery, exterior teak decking, bronze hardware and lamps. Classic arched coach roofs, Teak and holly interior sole. Forward head and sink. Lapstrake tender.
