Description
This 44 foot express cruiser is the ideal yacht for traveling to the Bahamas, the Keys, or out to dinner. She has twin 500 hp Volvo IPS counter-rotating pod drives which allows the captain to move the yacht in any of 360 degrees with the simple twist of the joystick. In fact, today more women are running their own boats and this yacht is no exception. The female owner of the yacht ran her from Stuart, Florida to Ocean Reef in the Florida Keys and never left the helm.
The electric window between the upper salon and the cockpit allows the passengers to all be together as a group in good weather. And when the weather turns fowl, simply raise the window, close the glass door, turn on the upper salon air conditioning and the party goes on.
The fuel consumption is incredible. Between 18 and 26 knots this vessel burns one gallon per knot; a 20 knot cruise burns 20 gallons per hour.
Recently the owner added a KVH M3 satellite along with four (4) flat panel televisions. He also added a 16,000 BTU A/C-Heater to the upper salon. And lastly there is a new Glendenning electric power cord retrival system added to this vessel. An additional $32,000 of extras with no addition cost to the buyer!
