44 ft Prestige 2012

The Prestige 440S is the best running 44 foot express cruiser yacht on the water today. Her hull was designed by Michael Peters, the world renowned naval architect. Michael is known for designing some of the fastest racing boats in multiple designs and classes worldwide. The yachts propulsion system utilizes twin Volvo Penta IPS 500 drives. The maneuverability and performance is spectacular with this system.

The yacht has two private staterooms and two baths. The forward bath also serves as a day head accessible from the lower salon. The salon along with each stateroom has their own air conditioning compressor and air handlers for individual climate control. The galley has a large refrigerator, a sink, a two burner electric stove, and a microwave. The table in the salon retracts to form a base for a bed in the salon area. There is a Samsung flat panel LED television in the salon along with a DVD player and a Pioneer stereo system.

The upper salon area contains the helm controls, a table with seating for eight people, a small refrigerator, a counter area with a wet sink. Overhead the huge electric sunroof allows the outside in. This salon area is separated from the stern cockpit area by a moveable electric window. When the window is in the lower position the area between the upper salon and the cockpit becomes one large party area able to seat 10-12 people. During inclement weather the window can be closed and the upper salon because a cozy area to keep the party going.

The table in the cockpit retracts to form a large sun bathing area. Below the outer cockpit is a storage garage area that houses an eight foot inflatable dingy. With just the push of a button the cockpit hatch raises giving access to the garage. Below the garage deck is a large access hatch to the engine room. There you will find a well organized, spacious area to service the engines, generator, batteries, etc.

There is also a very large sun bathing area on the bow of the yacht. Forward of the sun pad is the anchor windlass and locker. Within the locker is a remote control used to raise and lower the anchor. A second windless control is also available on the dash board at the internal helm.

This yacht is perfect for a family or two couples to take off to the Bahamas and get there quickly and in style while not consuming a lot of fuel.  She is easy to handle and a joy to ride on. All heads will turn when you pull up to the dock in this Prestige 440S.
