Adorned with flower pots hanging from the anchor and in various places on the deck, this yacht was a delight for festival goers to view. Local tv stations interviewed and filmed Rapture. The Enterprise 60 Motor Yacht "Rapture" is a fiberglass vessel built in 1982 in Kaohsiung, Taiwan Kha Shing Enterprises and imported into the US by Westlake Yacht Sales of Culver City, California. The vessel is equipped with two (2) helm stations and is powered by twin (2) eight (8) cylinder diesel powered motors in a V configuration. On board you will find a main salon, galley, three (3) heads, and three (3) sleeping cabins.Rapture – 60’ of amazing space with three decks to live aboard or to cruise. Enjoy the spaciousness of a wide furnished salon, an open upper deck (dance floor if you want) and sleep in any of three bedrooms below.The aft master suite below deck is huge with a walk around king bed, storage, and closets everywhere, a work desk, and master bathroom with tiled shower and modern Vacu-Flush heads. Forward guest bedrooms below deck have a shared bathroom, head and tiled shower as well. Entertaining is easy on this beautiful yacht with its teak interior, varnished interior floors, and spacious galley for cooking with a full-size refrigerator, electric stove, convection/microwave oven and sink with filtered water available. A large teak swim platform is attached to the aft making swimming and entry easy for your swimmers. The upper deck is open, spacious, and invites all types of various uses. Sunbathing to dining, dancing to socializing, the upper deck allows you, your family, and your guests to view the scenery as you operate from the covered flybridge.Handling this large yacht is shockingly easy. The twin Caterpillar 3208T (turbo) engines work smoothly to maneuver this boat, even in tight spots. It is estimated that these engines have less than 2500 hours on them, which for diesels engines mean they are very low hour motors.Shore power hook ups on either port or starboard, with 110v power is also supplied by a diesel powered 12.5 kw Onan generator.For longer range cruising, the five diesel tanks hold approximately 1500 gallons of fuel and the fuel consumption at a modest cruising speed of 8 knots is approximately 1 mile per gallon.Hot water is supplied by a 5 gallon electric hot water heater, ample for warm showers. A complete circuit breaker panel is accessible at the lower helm for both the 12V and 110V systems. House batteries are in a vented box and are charged by the engines when running, by the diesel powered generator or by shore power when docked.An ample sized inverter converts voltages as necessary between 12v and 110v. A stacking 110v washer and dryer are tucked away in a hallway closet for use when docked. A third head is located off the lower helm, but only for use at sea. Fresh water can be stored in the approximate 125 gallons plastic storage tanks below the lower deck and fresh water can be made from the Villager water maker (currently inoperable).Pulling up the heavy anchor is safely done by a foot operated windlass forward. Ample chain locker/rope locker for the anchor chain directly below the bow.
