Livin’ It is a Classic 1977 DeFever Trawler Passagemaker. 

Owners are both US Coast Guard certified Captains that have been full time live aboard for the last two years at Safe Harbor South Bay (formerly California Yacht Marina). Owners have spent their time renovating and modernizing Livin’ It, while maintaining the integrity of craftsmanship Classic DeFevers are known for. 

Livin’ It has the original single 120 Hp Ford Lehman engine, that has been professionally serviced and maintained since ownership.  This boat is outfitted with hydraulic stern thrusters for greater maneuverability. 

Main stateroom hosts a queen bed with a personal 32” wall mounted swivel smart Roku tv, a spacious closet with newly lined cedar planks and fantastic under bed storage, with built in cabinets and drawers throughout. Stateroom has en suite newly renovated subway tiled shower with sea glass ceiling and river rock flooring.  A single lever waterfall faucet with Turquoise Water Glass Vessel Sink sits atop the subway tiled countertop. 

Stateroom also has a convenient Splendide washer/dryer combination easily accessible inside one of the cabinets. 

Main Salon includes spacious galley with Corian countertops, undercounter Stainless Steel sink with a dual nozzle pull-down spray.  Galley has a 3-burner Mediterranean stove with oven, as well as a 2-draw stainless steel Vitrifrigo refrigerator with 5.1 cubic ft of space. 

The Main Salon also includes a custom designed built-in settee with new 5” cushions with luxury Brisa covers, along with a matching removable cushion for a coffee table that can convert to a desk or dining table that seats 8 comfortably, with a 55’ Samsung smart tv for viewing. 

Forward berth has split twin beds with brand new 9” mattresses, hanging closet, and multiple drawers and cabinets for additional storage. Forward berth also has 2 antique brass portal windows and a large hatch opening with a custom canvas/isinglass snap cover.  The en suite electric head has plenty of storage space as well as a new stainless-steel sink, waterfall faucet, with a new Corian countertop. 

Spacious Flybridge has centered helm station with 360-degree views and excellent visibility for docking.  It is fully enclosed with removable canvas and isinglass covers. Flybridge has double bench seating with new 4’ cushions with faux leather white covers. 

A coastwise endorsement has been added to the boat’s Coast Guard Certificate of Documentation which allows future owners chartering possibilities.
