1984 Carver 36 Mariner located in Bayfield, WI.

Previous owner re-powered the boat with Cummins diesels back in 1999. The generator was swapped out and the transmission’s were upgraded as well.  With only 630 hours on the engines and 430 on the generator this Mariner would make the perfect “loop” boat.  This vessel has had new upholstery (both interior and bridge) and bridge canvas recently. A Xantrex inverter was added for continuous power without the need to run the generator. The helm includes all the necessary electronics for long distance cruising. Current owner just swapped out old radar with Garmin radar/chart plotter and installed a new Lewmar windless.

The cabin offers a open layout with room for guests to enjoy.  There is a main stateroom forward with a centerline birth with direct access to the head/shower. A starboard side bunk room can accommodate additional guests.  There is a wet bar on the port side and galley to the starboard side. Refrigerator was replaced in the last year. Salon has ample seating and can accommodate additional overnight guests. The bridge area is massive for a boat of this size.  There is a raised aft seating area for optimal visibility while traveling.  There is ample forward bridge seating and a full enclosure when the weather is not favorable. The Mariner style offers wide cat walks and a open aft cockpit to make operating/docking very “crew” friendly and ample storage throughout.

This Mariner has spent its life in the fresh waters of Lake Superior and the upper Mississippi River since new and can be easily viewed at the Apostle Islands Marina.
