1947 Trumpy Raised Pilothouse

Timeless is available to be show at short notice in Newport Rhode island. 

Timeless was originally named ‘Seaplay” and was Designed and built by John Trumpy as a “luxury cruising Motor Yacht.She was commissioned by George W. Codrington of Cleveland, Ohio who was VP of General Motors and a member of the New York yacht Club and Larchmont Yacht Club Her hull was built at the Trumpy location in Camden, NJ and then was towed to the Trumpy yacht yard in Annapolis where she was completed and launched in 1947 and christened Seaplay

Seaplays names, in order, include NATAMOR II, SEAWAY, BEAU RIVAGE, SS SOPHIE and BB.She was renamed Timeless when bought by her current owner.

The current owner purchased her in the fall of 2021 and she underwent another refit to keep her looking bristol.Work included exterior varnished stripped and refinished to a high gloss.The old teak decks were removed and new deck installed.She was also repowered with John Deere engines. 

Some highlights of work carried out by the current owner. 

• Repowered with John Deere engines and a custom exhaust system.
• New Bow thruster and upgraded wiring 
• Stabilizers removed and rebuilt 
• Shafts removed and serviced
• New wiring throughout the whole boat 
• New baffles and air system in engine room
• Removal off all asbestos
• Full replacement of teak decking 
• Generators installed (October 2023)
• New (2) a/c systems
• New black water pump system 
• New fresh water system with accumulator tanks 
• New washer and dryer
• New stove and oven 
• New starlink system
• New roof on card room area
• Radar removed from mast and installed on cabin top
• Refinish of transom and stack and new name applied 
• All old antennas removed to return Timeless to her original profile 
• New Bottom paint (July 2025)
• Refinish aft saloon table and card room table 
• New upper deck furniture which include (2) lounges, (2) chairs and dock boxes all with covers 
• Custom  built cabinetry on the aft deck to for a refrigerator ,trash receptacle and serving area. Cabinetry looks like it was installed in 1947
• New exterior varnish on all exterior section with many sections stripped to bare wood and refinished with multiple coats 
• New canvas covers made to cover hatches ,dock boxes including sections of the railings and bridge 

2024/2025 

All exterior varnish was done 

New Sanitation hoses throughout the entire boat

Hull and bottom inspected and new bottom paint (July 2025)
