New raised pilothouse platform offers 34-38m flexibility
A New Era of Customization
Hargrave Custom Yachts has officially revealed Project Anemos, the latest evolution in their E-Series Raised Pilothouse line. Developed in collaboration with the Italian design firm Satura Studio, this new platform is not restricted to a single length but offers a flexible envelope ranging from 34 to 38 meters (approximately 112 to 125 feet). The project underscores Hargrave’s “Owner-Driven” philosophy, allowing clients to tailor the vessel’s profile and general arrangement to their specific requirements while utilizing a proven engineering foundation. With a slated delivery date of May 2027 and an asking price of $18.5 million, Project Anemos represents a significant expansion of the builder’s custom capabilities.
Design and Layout Versatility
The exterior styling of Project Anemos is characterized by clean, contemporary lines and extensive glazing that creates a seamless connection with the sea. Full-height windows on the main deck flood the interiors with natural light, enhancing the sense of volume which ranges between 250 and 270 GT. The proposed layout features five staterooms accommodating up to ten guests, including a private main-deck owner’s suite. Below deck, four guest cabins offer flexible sleeping arrangements with California King beds that can convert to twins. Notable lifestyle features include a spacious beach club, a sundeck equipped with a Jacuzzi, and a versatile bow entertainment area. To ensure guest comfort, day heads are strategically located on all three decks.
Engineering and Performance
Under the hood, Project Anemos is engineered for reliable long-range cruising. Power is provided by twin Caterpillar C32 engines, which are projected to deliver a top speed of 25 to 26 knots and a cruising speed of 22 to 24 knots, depending on the final horsepower configuration. At a more economical speed of 10 to 11 knots, the yacht offers a transoceanic range of approximately 2,000 nautical miles. Construction materials are equally flexible; owners can select from varying hull compositions including FRP with carbon reinforcement, aluminum, or a steel and aluminum combination. A key focus of the engineering team has been noise reduction, with sound levels expected to remain as low as 45 dB at anchor.
Project Anemos signifies a strategic move for Hargrave Custom Yachts, blending the security of a tested platform with the freedom of full custom design. By partnering with Satura Studio and offering diverse construction and layout options, Hargrave ensures that the E-Series remains adaptable to modern market demands. This project offers prospective owners a rare opportunity to secure a highly personalized superyacht with a competitive delivery timeline and verified performance metrics.
