Codecasa begins build of seventh 43m yacht F82

Seventh Codecasa 43 (hull F82) enters construction

Codecasa has begun construction of the seventh hull in its 43-metre series, designated F82, adding to the yard’s ongoing production of this model line. The new build follows the design language and technical developments seen in recent sisterships such as Gioia and Boji, with delivery scheduled for spring 2028.

The announcement underscores Codecasa’s continued focus on bespoke semi-custom steel-aluminium yachts. The latest completed example from the line, Gioia, was delivered in October 2024, and the yard today reports multiple projects progressing alongside F82.

Steel hull, aluminium superstructure and layout details

F82 will be built with a steel hull and an aluminium superstructure and will feature the series’ characteristic vertical bow. Large windows and maximised internal volumes — kept under the 500GT threshold — are intended to deliver bright, spacious living areas while retaining the series’ external proportions.

Accommodation is configured for up to ten guests across five cabins: four guest cabins plus an owner’s suite positioned on the main deck in the traditional Codecasa layout. Crew and staff quarters are provided for up to nine, and public spaces include two saloons and a distribution of comfortable living areas over three decks.

F82 due spring 2028: specs, range and shipyard update

Propulsion will be provided by twin Caterpillar C32 engines rated at 1,600 hp each, giving a quoted top speed of 16 knots at light displacement and a cruising range of approximately 4,000 nautical miles at 11 knots. Principal dimensions include a nine-metre beam and a three-metre draught.

Codecasa describes the design as having a “clean and rigorous profile” consistent with the shipyard’s standards, with emphasis on material selection and fit-out quality. The yard currently lists four yachts under construction and last year delivered its first 33.5-metre Classic 110, Pleiades; F82’s build will be one to follow through final outfitting toward its spring 2028 handover.
